July 10 Technology Outages

On Friday, July 10, the majority of Chemeketa's technology resources will be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance. Telephone and network services will be available, but Banner, e-mail, eLearn, and all Web services (including My Chemeketa, the public Web site, and Chemeketa Online) will be down between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on that day. This outage will allow Information Technology staff to perform essential maintenance on a variety of systems. Questions about this outage may be directed to any member of the Information Technology management team.

Scheduled service interruption

On Friday, March 27th, from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, electricians will be working on Chemeketa's power infrastructure. The following systems will be unavailable during this time:

eLearn
Banner (including portal services from My Chemeketa)
Online student services (learning.chemeketa.edu, occdl.chemeketa.edu)
Online library services
All Building 9 PCs and network

No other systems will be impacted.

Fall Term Grades Available to Students - 12/19 at 8:00am

Due to the college closure this week grades will be available for students to view at 8:00am tomorrow morning (12/19).

Chemeketa Websites Outage

My Chemeketa Service Restored

At approximately 5:00 pm Pacific time today, My Chemeketa was restored to full service. We apologize for any inconvenience that the disruption in service may have caused.

My Chemeketa Unavailable Saturday 2/23

My Chemeketa did not return to operation after a backup last night. Staff have been working on the issue. All efforts are being made to restore the portal to operation as soon as possible.

Email delivery is delayed

Monday we determined that email sent to My Chemeketa was not being delivered properly and piling up in a queue. This queue reached over 40,000 email messages. Yesterday all of the email was cleared for delivery but this morning we found that it was not delivered properly. Currently, mail being sent to any cp.chemeketa.edu address is being rejected. IT Staff are working on determining the source and repairing the problem. Students will not have received emails sent to them since sometime late Sunday though they can send email through to Chemeketa staff and other cp.chemeketa.edu users. [More]
