Introduction to Poetry
Teaches students to enjoy, understand, analyze, and interpret Poetry. Introduces the breadth of poetry across periods, forms, and styles, both originally written in English and in translation. Introduces literary criticism and the conventions of writing literary analysis. Prerequisites: Placement into WR115 and RD090; or WR090, or WR115 or higher; or consent of instructor.
