An introduction to the physical and cultural geography of the developing world (Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, and South, East and Southeast Asia). Emphasizes regional survey of the geography of developing countries, major geographic themes and concepts, including population change, natural resourcce use, environmental degradation, economic development, geopolitical conflicts, and cultural perceptions.
