Child Abuse and Neglect
Introduces problems of child abuse and neglect for professionals in situations where children are cared for, such as child care centers and schools. May also be useful to other professionals who come into contact with children and need to be aware of issues regarding child abuse and neglect. Includes examining the causes of abuse, the abused child, the abusive parent and adult, the role of teacher, areas of treatment, and education.
