Introduction to Contemporary Mathematics Surveys the application of mathematics as a problem solving tool in the real world. Problems that are explored come from fields including business, consumerism, ecology and city planning. The tools included are probability, statistics, geometry, graph theory, linear programming and game theory.
Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in MTH095 or equivalent
