Strategic Studying
Prepares students to become active and efficient participants in the learning process. Encourages students to build and employ a collection of effective learning strategies necessary to meet the learning challenges of academic and career settings. Develops note taking, listening, textbook study-reading, time management, test-taking and concentration and memory strategies. Focuses on reducing test anxiety and procrastination, Identifies campus resources and learning preferences. Prerequisite: Reading placement test score at or above RD090 or consent of instructor.
