Emphasizes clear, detailed informative writing, critical thinking, and active reading. Prerequisite: Ability to organize thoughts and competency in standard written English as demonstrated by (a) qualifying score on a standard placement test or (b) grade of C or better in WR115 or (c) grade of C or better in COM051.
