Aztec Civilization/La Civlizacion Azteca
This course presents an overview of Aztec institutions and demonstrates examples present in contemporary Mexican culture. Course focuses on the daily life, culture, religion, philosophy, literature, social, political and economic structures of the Aztecs. Students will analyze and compare Aztec concepts of life, death, the sacred, time, space, property, and education with American mainstream concepts.
