Second course in a three-term sequence that introduces foundational concepts and practices in computer science and software engineering. Includes coverage of inheritance, GUI programming, error handling, file I/O, recursive algorithms, algorithm complexity, and an introduction to abstract data types. Emphasizes experiences with professional engineering practices.
